Blended is a social network for schools that facilitates and enhances communication between principals, teachers, parents and students. Spectro is a retail Intelligence platform that uses small sensors and Big Data to help malls and stores optimize operations, increase pro?tability & improve shopper experience. Both were selected by Startup Chile, a public startup accelerator created by the Chilean Government for high-potential entrepreneurs to bootstrap their startups.
Startup Chile seeks to attract high-level entrepreneurship based on innovation with sustenance in Chile. Their main goal is to remain a world hub for technological innovation and to be known as drivers of technological enterprises that impact the domestic economy positively. In the last 6 years, they have received more than 14.000 startups through their programs TSF, Seed and Scale from more than 79 countries.
Blended and Spectro were selected to participate in Seed, a program that accommodates early stage entrepreneurs who will strengthen the enterprise environment, support the culture of innovation in Chile and connect with Latam to grow the region to the world. The program offers 30k usd in equity for free, acceleration services for 6 months and benefits such as access to their community network accessing to perks and a one year working visa.
After launching in Chile, Blended, is seeking to investigate the market, open commercial offices and secure at least 20 active clients during their acceleration months. The company is working with more than 100 schools in Argentina and has more than 140k active users using their platform.
During Spectro´s months of acceleration, they aim to consolidate their customers in Chile and secure new ones while also opening new offices to provide local support. The company has 8 national and international allies among which are Telefónica, IRSA, Mondelez and Mall Plaza (from Falabella group) which whom they are currently working in the installation of sensors in their shopping malls located in Chile (approximately 20 shopping malls).
